Stand up paddling has been the fastest-growing watersport in the world for years — and with the right instruction it can be learned very quickly, is incredibly versatile and unbelievably fun.
Training
Courses at WWS schools range from beginner to advanced and special techniques, divided into courses for children, adolescents and adults.
The examination
Theory exam
The theory exam covers materials, safety, waterways rules, nature and the environment.
Practical exam
The practical exam confirms safe board control, paddle technique and the ability to return to your starting point.
Your certificate
The WWS certificate of proficiency can be purchased at the end of the course directly from your school. On presentation of the certificate, you can additionally order the waterproof card from the WWS association in Germany — credit-card format, made for the water.
