Kitesurfing
Kitesurfing is a fantastic sport — but "learning by doing" is not how you learn it safely. With a qualified instructor and a structured basic course at a WWS school, you will enjoy the sport safely and responsibly.
Training
You need a good basic knowledge of wind and kite safety, physical fitness, and swimming ability appropriate to open-water conditions. Safety always comes first: weather awareness, safe distance from obstacles and other water users, and proper safety equipment.
Training in four steps
- 1Kite training on land — learning kite control without the board
- 2Body dragging — steering through the water with the kite
- 3Board training — standing up on the board with kite support
- 4Riding independently — connecting all elements
Your certificate
The WWS certificate of proficiency can be purchased at the end of the course directly from your school. On presentation of the certificate, you can additionally order the waterproof card from the WWS association in Germany — credit-card format, made for the water.
