- Occasional jellyfish and marine life in warm waters; check conditions locally
- Reef structures nearby require careful navigation and awareness of launch/landing zones
Was das für dich heißt

Lokale Tipps
Wind is consistent 283 days per year, making this an excellent beginner spot. Book accommodation at Robinson Club in advance to secure beach access and rental equipment.
Einstieg & Strand
Flat water conditions are ideal for launching, with consistent northerly winds making the beach well-oriented. Sand beach provides comfortable entry; watch for the Robinson Club's designated launch area to avoid resort restrictions.
Lokale Regeln
Respect the resort's private beach policies and designated kite zones. Yield to swimmers and other water users, and coordinate with other kiters to maintain safe distances in the flat water.
Was anziehen
A light 2-3mm wetsuit is sufficient year-round given the warm Red Sea temperatures (25-30°C). Rash guards provide sun protection in the intense Egyptian sun.

Spot-Guide
The Experience
Launch from Robinson Club's private beach into water flat enough to learn on. Wind runs NNW to NE reliably—you won't chase forecasts all day. The resort handles everything: gear, beds, water, food. It's logistics-free kitesurfing.
Flat water doesn't mean consequence-free. You're in the Red Sea. Current runs strong when wind picks up; you'll drift downwind faster than expected. Stay in the designated launch zone.
Wind & Conditions
283 windy days annually. Peak season May–November, but winter (Nov–Feb) runs solid and comfortable. Expect 15+ knots on the beach—enough to progress without getting hammered. Ground swell is rare. You'll actually improve technique instead of fighting chop.
Summer heat is intense. Wind keeps it manageable.
The Water
Shallow and flat means easier waterstart practice. It also means sandbars move and depth shifts fast—pay attention to where you're going. Red Sea currents here run strong; expect faster downwind drift than other flat-water spots.
Warm water supports active reef structures with fish and occasional jellyfish. Reef isn't at the beach but close enough to matter. Don't assume you can drift anywhere. Ask locals about current patterns before launching.
Who It's For
Beginners and early-intermediate kiters building hours on flat water. Good for waterstart work and transition practice. The consistency means a week's booking actually delivers training.
Not a spot for tricks or waves. Not Instagram bait. It's reliable, which is what actually matters.
Getting There
Book Robinson Club accommodation and rental in advance. The resort manages beach access and current conditions better than any app. Launch only from the designated beach. Wandering to random reef spots is how you get injured or lose gear.
