Spot-Guide

The Experience

Flat lagoon water, consistent wind, no excuses. You're here to build fundamentals without fighting chop or fighting for your life. The NE and SW monsoons deliver reliably enough that you can plan sessions weeks ahead. Sessions happen.

Wind & Conditions

18.4 knots average, 273+ windy days annually. January, July, and December are most reliable. Wind shifts are sharp when monsoons swing—sudden and real. Respect them. Tidal currents at the lagoon entrance are strong enough to affect launch and landing. Check the tidal charts before you go in.

The Water

Flat. That's the draw. Visibility varies—some zones you see bottom, others you don't. Submerged vegetation and debris exist, so scout your launch zone. Shallow conditions mean longer walks to depth at low tide. Tidal swings change your water access.

Who It's For

Beginners building fundamentals without fighting nature. Progressers dial in transitions and tricks in flat, consistent wind. Advanced riders hunting tricks will be bored. Mui Ne—25km away—has kite schools and rental shops if you need backup.

The Scene

Utilitarian. Local restaurants exist for water sports people. You come here to kite, not for beach scene.
