Respect local fishing activity in the lagoon and give right-of-way to traditional vessels. Coordinate with other kiters given the spot's popularity and beginner-friendly reputation.

A light 2-3mm wetsuit or rash guard is sufficient year-round given Vietnam's warm tropical climate. Minimal protection needed except during cooler months (Dec-Feb).
